March, Please Leave Me Alone...

For any of you who have been reading my blog for a while it is no secret that I detest the month of March. Over many years the month of March has taken many people that I love including my daddy, a brother, an uncle, cousins, and friends, this year was no different; this past Sunday my step-grandmother(MawMaw) lost her battle with cancer and went to be with my PawPaw.

March has not only taken precious family members from me, but this year it decided to take a hero and favorite author of both my husband and myself. My husband brought the amazing Terry Pratchett into my Life 15 years ago in the form of a clumsy wizzard, a crazy and very much alive piece of luggage, and of course Death; The Color of Magic/The Light Fantastic was my first Terry Pratchett book, but not my last.

I do have one bright spot in the month of March and she came into my life 13 years ago this Sunday; my youngest daughter is the most magical creature I have ever even dreamed of; I don't know how and I don;t question it, but she has the most uncanny ability to take all negativity from any room that she walks into. It does not matter the situation if she comes in the room you will smile and be happy.

This weekend we will celebrate her becoming a teenager, were has the time gone? I hope all of you have a great weekend and a great rest of the month.

An Incredible Journey To Crystal Bliss

Long time no posting.... Sorry.


I have been extremely busy, I have been taking classes to become a Crystal Therapist; as of February 11th I completed my courses and became a Certified Crystal Healer and shortly after that I finished my advanced courses as well and became a Certified Crystal Therapist.

I so enjoyed my classes and have learned so much and I am also continuing to learn. I will be starting a Crystal Reiki course soon. This has been an exciting experience and would not have been possible with out all you wonderful people who donated and helped me get there, so thank you all so much; you're amazingly wonderful people and I am blessed to have all of you in my life.

Now that I am through with the major classes the truly exciting stuff gets to start, on Monday I will be seeing my first client (I have been using the hubby and kids as training aids), I am both nervous and excited at the same time.

In the next few week I thought I would try and add a weekly bit of crystal fun, I'm not sure exactly what it will be yet, but I know this is my calling and I want to share that with all of you.

I would like to give a huge shout out to a few people first my amazing hubby, who made it possible or me to be a stay at home mom and to to have quite time during the day to study and take my classes. Secondly I ant to thank Ashley Leavy and The Love and Light School of Energy Medicine, for an amazing experience and for pumping me full of crystal knowledge you guys ROCK!!!

Happy Feet and Wonderful Surprises!!!

If you read my blog or follow me on facebook, you know I have been in a battle of wills with my feet, due to my diabetic neuropathy. If you haven't I give you a a quick run down.

• Developed neuropathy in mid/late 2013, was put on a medication for it.
• The medicine worked great and probably still would be...
• Developed a life threatening (and itchy) allergic reaction to my medication in Nov. 2014
• Have been in pain with no medication since Nov. 2014

Ok so that where things have stood for the past few months not because there was no other option, but because I was scared of the option. That being said I gave in almost 2 weeks ago and called the doctor and told him I could not stand the pain anymore I would take the one medication I have been avoiding for over a year... Lyrica; I have been taking it for just over a week now and my feet are so happy they could dance, there are a few side effects (mostly sleepiness and dizziness) but those are getting better and I am starting to feel like me again :-).

Now for my wonderful surprise, I was blessed to be the winner of Eliora's giveaway for January 2014; my beautiful prize arrived today and it is better that expected.

When I opened this beautiful box, not only were the brilliant stones I won inside but sneaky Lori added a surprise to the box. 

I was completely blown away and am still in awe of all of my new pretties. Thank you so much Lori I love all of my stones and I am in love with the box, you my friend are a crafting goddess and I bow down to you.  

With Imbolc just a few weeks away I hope to squeeze in a few post on it and maybe a few other fun things along the way.
