The End Of The Word, or NOT!!!

Well, 12/21/12 has come and is almost gone in some places and we are still here; so that means it is time to start thinking ahead and making goals for 2013. I say goals because I don't like the term resolutions.

At the end of each year right after Yule/The Winter Solstice, I make a list of goals for the year to come, Not something out there or out of reach but real tangible goals, that if I try I can reach. This year I am making two list one for my spiritual self and one for my non-spiritual self, I won't share all my goals on here, but I will share a few from each list.

Spiritual Goals for 2013

1. continue my herbal studies
2. refresh myself on my chosen form of divination
3. delve deeper into my studies of the Goddess Freya

Non-Spiritual Goals for 2013

1. To maintain a healthy glucose/blood-sugar level.
2. Have a date night with my husband at least twice a month.
3. Make time for myself.

These are just a few of my goals for the next year, do you make goals/resolutions for yourself? What are your goals/resolutions for 2013?

  1. Spiritual Goals:

    1) Set aside time for my spiritual self every day. Even if it's just a 20 minute meditation.

    2) Perform a ritual for all Sabbats. I only left organized Christianity last December, so of course, I wasn't ready for rituals. However, this Solstice will be my first and I want to continue.

    3) Really get to know the Goddess. The Lord has been with me throughout my life (in the form of Jesus Christ)and remains so. But it's time for me to form a relationship with the Goddess.

    Non-Spiritual Self

    1) Get back into bellydancing. Practice/work out every day for an hour or so.

    2) (Hopefully) start on a pescatarian diet.

    3) Get my GED and my license and get myself back in school.
